Mounting Information:

Galvanized pipe (3-1/4" Inside Diameter)

Remove any any post caps from you dock post. It may also be necessary to file off any corrosion or metal bur defects on your pipe. There are two different ways to mount your light to the inside of the these post.

1. You can dill a set screw hole through your brock post to attach it with a screw. Depending on your post it may be necessary to add a layer or so of electrical tape around your Solar Dock Lite's universal fitting. This will ensure a tight and snug fit for your Solar Dock Lite inside the large post. Note that some pipe will not need a layer of tape for a tight/snug fit.

2. You may also easily use some glue on the inside of your Post to secure the Solar Dock Lite. We recommend you slightly sand the outside of your Solar Dock Lite's universal fitting. This will ensure a better bond between your Solar Dock Lite and the inside of the post. With this permanent mounting option we recommend you remove the Solar Dock Lite's top (electronics portion) for winter months. Note: Glue should be able to bond plastic to metal. eg. Goup, Gorilla Glue, etc.
