My light has a short run time:

A short run time may be the result of a few problems.

1. The Solar Dock Lite needs to be placed in a sunny area not shade by trees or other obstructions. If placed in a shade area its solar panel will be much less efficient. The battery will not get a full charge and thus the Solar Dock Lite will not last as long.
2. You may have accidentally placed a Red, Orange, or Yellow LED into the WBG socket which is for White, Blue, and Green LED's only. This overloads the LED and will draw much more power from the battery and you lights run time will dramatically decrease. THIS IS NOT GOOD FOR THE RED, ORANGE, OR YELLOW LED AND MAY DAMAGE IT OVER TIME! If you have accidentally placed a White, Blue or Green LED in they ROY socket the LED will simply appear dim as it is not getting the power it requires. Please visit our Changing LED instructions.
3. Battery may be dead from a few seasons use. Replace with new battery.
